Shares of Orient Cables (India) Ltd, which specialises in networking cables and passive networking equipment, made a stellar debut on the bourses today, listing at a 65 per cent premium over the issue price.
The stock listed at Rs 450 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), a premium of 65.44 per cent to the issue price of Rs 272. On the BSE, the stock debuted at Rs 448.10. Meanwhile, shares of Snapdeal’s parent, AceVector, listed at a discount of 11.50 per cent at Rs 28.32 against the issue price of Rs 32. The stock gained further after listing and touched the intraday high of Rs 465.30, representing a gain of Rs 193.3 or 71 per cent from the IPO price. However, it saw profit booking at higher levels, fell to Rs 403.30, and hit a 10 per cent lower circuit. The company’s market cap stood at Rs 4,589.54 crore.
Real estate developer Runwal Enterprises Ltd shares made a flat debut, listing at Rs 306 on the BSE. German Green Steel & Power made a muted debut, listing at Rs 142 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), up 2.16 per cent from the IPO price of Rs 139.
