Meanwhile, the Commission has directed Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi to present the affidavit in 7 days.

Now in such a situation, the opposition is preparing to take a new step. It is reported that the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is being considered to bring impeachment motion. Congress Rajya Sabha MP Nasir Hussain also reacted to this and said that the party is ready to use all the democratic and constitutional options. He said, “The impeachment has not been discussed yet, but we can also take this step if needed.”

Chief Election Commissioner Dnyanesh Kumar has described all the allegations like opposition’s vote theft as baseless. He said that if Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has any evidence about this, he should file an affidavit within 7 days. If there is no evidence, then Rahul Gandhi will have to apologize for misleading people.
