The OPPO Reno 16 series is set to make its debut in India later today. The line-up will include the OPPO Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, and Reno 16c.
Additionally, OPPO is also launching the Bubble accessory and Enco Air5 earbuds alongside the three smartphones.
The company has confirmed that the new Reno phones will be available through Amazon India, OPPO’s online store and offline retail network. Pre-reservations are also listed on major online channels. Official pricing will be revealed at the launch, but early leaks suggest the series could move into a higher price band than the Reno 15 generation.

OPPO Reno 16 Series Launch: What to Expect
The OPPO Reno 16 series, Enco Air5 earbuds, and Bubble accessory are launching in India today at 12 pm (IST). Following their launch, the upcoming Reno 16 smartphones will go on sale in Inda through Flipkart, Amazon, OPPO’s e-store, and parter retail channels. As of now, it is unclear whether OPPO will do a soft launch or livestream the event.
OPPO Reno 16 Series Price in India
Several tipsters have claimed that the OPPO Reno 16 price in India may start at Rs 59,999. The OPPO Reno 16c is expected to be positioned lower, with a possible starting price of Rs 49,999. The Reno 16 Pro, if launched in India, could reportedly start around Rs 69,999.
These prices should be treated as unofficial until OPPO confirms them. If the leaks are accurate, the Reno 16 series will compete with upper mid-range and near-premium Android phones rather than mainstream mid-range devices.
OPPO Reno 16 Series Expected Specifications and Features
The OPPO Reno 16 series is expected to comprise the Reno 16 Pro, Reno 16, and Reno 16c, with each model catering to different price segments while sharing a strong focus on cameras, AI features, and durability.
The flagship OPPO Reno 16 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 10-bit colour support, up to 1,800 nits High Brightness Mode, and a 144Hz refresh rate in supported games. It is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone could pack a 6,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
For photography, the Reno 16 Pro is expected to offer a 200MP primary camera with 2-axis OIS, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS. A 50MP autofocus selfie camera is also expected.
The standard OPPO Reno 16 is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is expected to sport a 6.32-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a triple 50MP rear camera setup, including primary, ultra-wide, and 3.5x telephoto sensors. All three rear cameras are expected to support 4K HDR video recording at 60fps, while selfies will be handled by a 50MP front camera. Leaks also suggest a 6,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
The OPPO Reno 16c, likely to be the most affordable model, is tipped to feature a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits peak brightness. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset and may pack the largest battery in the lineup-a 7,000mAh unit with 80W fast charging.
Across the lineup, the Reno 16 series is expected to run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 and include AI-powered photography and editing features. Other expected features include stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, dual-SIM 5G with eSIM support (on select models), and comprehensive IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance ratings.

OPPO Enco Air5 and Bubble Accessory Features
Alongside the Reno 16 series, OPPO is expected to unveil the OPPO Bubble, a magnetic accessory aimed at content creators. It features a 1.73-inch AMOLED display that acts as a wireless viewfinder and remote shutter, allowing users to capture selfies, vlogs, and group photos using the rear cameras. The accessory connects via Bluetooth with a range of up to 10 metres, packs a 550mAh battery, carries an IP54 rating, and magnetically attaches to compatible OPPO smartphones.
The OPPO Enco Air5 is expected to offer several features borrowed from the Enco Air5 Pro at a lower price. It is likely to include active noise cancellation (ANC), low-latency gaming mode, AI-powered call noise reduction, touch controls, and seamless pairing with ColorOS devices, alongside Google Fast Pair support. The earbuds are also expected to deliver all-day battery life with the charging case, making them a compelling option in the affordable premium TWS segment.
