New Delhi: Bankrupt Pakistan’s Army Chief, Asim Munir, has once again issued a veiled threat to India. According to the reports, Munir, while addressing a program on Tuesday, said that any violation of Pakistan’s territorial integrity would be met with a firm and decisive response from the army.
It is important to note that in recent days, Munir has repeatedly claimed that if Pakistan is attacked, it will deliver a strong retaliation. This is being seen as a sign of Pakistan’s fear of a possible Indian offensive.
To recall, India’s Defence Minister and Army Chief had recently issued stern warnings to Pakistan. Pakistan’s military now appears to be worried about an operation similar to India’s “Operation Sindoor”, where Indian forces destroyed nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoK.
According to Dawn, citing a statement issued by the media wing of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Munir said, “Pakistan seeks regional peace and stability but will not compromise on its territorial integrity. The Pakistan Army will deliver a decisive response to protect its citizens.”
Munir Blames India:
Pakistan – a nation notorious as the global hub of terrorism – is now accusing India of orchestrating the terror attacks happening on its own soil. Munir said that India’s proxy groups are continuously spreading violence. He further added that to free Balochistan from the threat of such groups, the Pakistani Army is taking all necessary action. The Pakistani Army has declared the groups responsible for violence in Balochistan to be “Fitna al-Hindustan.”
Earlier, on Saturday, Aseem Munir had poured venom against India in his speech. The Pakistani Army chief, while threatening nuclear war against India, said that there is no place for war in the present environment. India should not take any step like Operation Sindoor again. I would tell India that we will not yield to your pressure. We will give a decisive response to any provocation.
