India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025, following the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22. The Pahalgam attack was carried out by The Resistance Front, a proxy of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba. In response, Indian forces carried out precision strikes on multiple terror camps across Pakistan and PoK, killing over 100 terrorists, according to official estimates.
