The first two rounds of the MotoGP World Championship season have been completed. At this moment, only three riders have failed to score any points, out of a total of 22 that make up the regular lineup.
Of these, the highest ranked is Luca Marini. The Repsol Honda rider finished 20th in Qatar and 17th in Portugal, holding the 20th position in the championship ahead of Franco Morbidelli. The Italian from Prima Pramac is adapting to his new Ducati and team after missing pre-season testing, finishing 18th in the first two races. He is 21st in the World Championship.
Without points and still not classified in the championship is Raúl Fernández. The start of the season was far from what the Trackhouse Racing rider expected, having two retirements that officially leave him unclassified in the standings.
Thanks to Miguel Oliveira’s ninth place in Portimão, despite Fernández’s record, Trackhouse Racing is no longer the only team with zero points – they now have eight points, one more than Repsol Honda and LCR Honda.
