Only 5 contested and won 300 seats, this alliance party can break ties with BJP due to anger! , Bdjs Considers Leaving Nda After Poor Election Results

BDJS is angry with BJP due to defeat in local body elections. The party has cited non-cooperation of BJP as the reason for winning only 5 seats out of 300. Now the change in alliance will be discussed in the meeting to be held on 23rd.

Alappuzha: After the defeat in the local body elections, BDJS has intensified discussions about changing the alliance. The party believes that the reason for this crushing defeat is BJP’s non-cooperation. Change in alliance will also be discussed in the leadership meeting of BDJS to be held on 23rd. Despite contesting on nearly 300 seats, BDJS could win only five seats.

Even though it is believed that NDA performed well in the local elections, resentment is increasing among the alliance partners. The reason for this is that in places where NDA gained, parties like BDJS lost. While the NDA won power in Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, the BDJS lost all the four seats it contested. BDJS alleges that the reason for defeat is BJP’s non-cooperation. Even in the areas where BJP has influence, it did not get full support.

Despite contesting 13 seats in Kochi Corporation, he also lost his sitting seat. The situation was similar in Kozhikode Corporation also. In Pallikthodu Panchayat of Kottayam, BJP had taken over the sitting seat of BDJS. After the defeat here, the Panchayat rule itself went out of hand. In Alappuzha’s Kodamthuruth panchayat, where the NDA was dominant, the BJP fought alone. While last time it had got seven seats, this time NDA got only six seats. There is also a complaint that they did not get representation even in 100 out of 140 assembly constituencies of the state. There was no hope of winning the seats that were found. Due to BJP’s unilateral attitude, BDJS itself had to retreat from many places.

Although BDJS’s displeasure in the alliance has come to the fore many times, but due to the close relationship between Tushar and the central leadership of BJP, the complaints were suppressed. Now the assembly elections are ahead, in such a situation a group of the party is believing that they cannot live together by being ignored like this. The leaders have met SNDP General Secretary Vellappally Natesan and told him about these problems. It is possible that SNDP may intervene to resolve this matter. The leaders also reminded that ignoring organizations with community background would not be beneficial in the assembly elections.
