The OnePlus 15R is widely believed to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6, which launched in China in October. If that’s accurate and most leaks strongly suggest it is we already have a fairly clear picture of the hardware.
Instead of ColorOS, the global and Indian units will likely ship with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 and the phone is tipped to feature a large 6.83-inch flat AMOLED panel, offering a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness is said to stretch all the way to 5,000 nits, making outdoor visibility a non-issue. Rumours point to a huge 7800 mAh battery backed by 120W fast charging.
Under the hood, the phone will reportedly run on last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, paired with LPDDR5X RAM (up to 16GB) and UFS 4.1 storage (up to 1TB). OnePlus is also said to include an in-display 3D fingerprint sensor and, like the Ace 6, a dual camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide, with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
