ONE Fight Night 32: Jaosuayai Promises Explosive Knockout Victory Against Nakrob

ONE Fight Night 32: Rising flyweight Muay Thai star Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi faces the biggest test of his career as he takes on 5-ranked contender Nakrob Fairtex in a pivotal bout on 7 June at ONE Fight Night 32.

The 23-year-old striker returns to the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand – the venue that changed his life for good and launched his meteoric rise to prominence in the Muay Thai world.

In the centennial edition of ONE Friday Fights, Jaosuayai stunned the veteran Denis Puric with a second-round TKO to earn a life-changing US$100,000 contract that secured his place among the sport’s elite.

Now, the Sor Dechapan representative will face Nakrob, who has 10 victories to his name in ONE Championship and represents a significant step up in competition for the young Thai sensation.

Jaosuayai revealed that he will rely on his thunderous counter attacks in this matchup, given Nakrob’s tendency to come out with all guns blazing from the opening to the closing bell.

“My game plan for this fight is to wait for him to come in and counter accurately, but I’m not afraid to trade with him,” Jaosuayai said. “However, I won’t trade continuously. I’ll use a stick-and-move strategy.”

“Nakrob’s strength is his high stamina and good attacking ability, but his weakness is that he tends to come straight in, which is predictable, and he neglects his defence.”

With over 80 professional fights to his name in his career, Jaosuayai has emerged as one of the fastest-rising knockout artists in the division, establishing himself as a formidable force.

Since making his ONE Friday Fights debut in 2023, the Thai standout has rocked top strikers with his heavy-handed attacks that have left his opponents stunned and fight fans mesmerised.

However, many fans consider him an underdog against Nakrob, whose experience and ranking make him the favourite heading into this high-stakes encounter. Jaosuayai is not bothered by being underestimated, as his entire focus is on his U.S. primetime debut, and he aims to win this high-octane fight with a knockout.

“I don’t think about what people say about me being an underdog in this fight,” Jaosuayai said. “I believe in myself and that I have what it takes to fight him. I’ve set a goal to win by knockout in my U.S. primetime debut.”
