Actress Dia Mirza recently invited filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan to her beautiful home for her YouTube channel, where the two spent time baking healthy banana bread and sharing interesting anecdotes. During the fun-filled conversation, Dia recalled her experience of working with superstar Salman Khan in the 2002 film Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, which also starred Sushmita Sen. When Farah suggested that Dia should collaborate with Salman again, the actress jokingly remarked that he now works with younger actresses. Dia then remembered a prediction Salman had made during the early days of her career. “In my very first film, he told me, ‘Just wait, one day you’ll play my mother on screen,'” she recalled. The actress admitted that the comment had left her completely shocked and frightened at the time. “I was just 19 years old. Rajpal Yadav, Salman and I were waiting for a shot. The actress playing Salman’s mother in the film had recently given birth to a child,” Dia said. She recalled telling Salman that the actress portraying his mother was actually quite young because she had just become a mother in real life. Salman then replied, “Don’t worry, the same thing will happen to you one day.” Released on February 22, 2002, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge was directed by Pankaj Parashar and featured Salman Khan, Dia Mirza and Sushmita Sen in lead roles. The film also starred Inder Kumar, Sharat Saxena, Mukesh Rishi, Rajpal Yadav, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Alok Nath, Johnny Lever and Arbaaz Khan in supporting roles. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently busy with his upcoming film Matrubhoomi, previously titled Battle of Galwan. The film is being directed by Apoorva Lakhia and features Chitrangda Singh as the female lead.
