Nag Panchami and Mangla Gauri fast
The festival of Nag Panchami is on today i.e. July 29 and on this day Mangala Gauri fast of Sawan is also being kept. Mangala Gauri fast is observed in Sawan on Tuesday and there is a law of worship of Goddess Parvati. This time Nag Panchami and Mangla Gauri fast are on the same day, so in such a situation, you can get the blessings of both Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati by doing some special work. Mangla Gauri Vrat and Nag Panchami remedy
Worship of Mata Parvati:- The Shiva family should be worshiped at both the morning and evening of Mangala Gauri Vrat and Nag Panchami. During the worship, chant the mantras of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Also, Aarti must be performed in the end. It is believed that by doing this, there is prosperity in the family and Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati will keep blessings on you throughout the year.
The consecration of Shivling:- According to religious belief, both Nag Devta and Mother Parvati consider Lord Shiva to be their revered, so on July 29, Shivling should be anointed with water, milk and bell -paper. Also, recite Shiva Raksha Stotra. It is believed that by doing this, Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati are also pleased with the serpent gods.
Kheer’s enjoyment:- Mangala Gauri Vrat and Nag Panchami are falling on the same day, so on this day Mata Parvati should offer kheer and anoint Shivling with milk. Also, milk should also be offered to the serpent god on this day. It is believed that by doing this, you get freedom from Kaal Sarp Dosha, Mangal Dosha, Chandra Dosha etc.
Chanting of mantras:- During the Mangala Gauri fast, the mantras of Goddess Parvati must be chanted. Some mantras of Mata Gauri are as follows- Om Ummaheshwarabhyam Namah, Ov Parvatai Namah, Om Samb Shivaya Namah and Om Gauraye Namah. Chanting these mantras brings mental peace and blessings of Mother Parvati.
Fasting story recitation:- If possible, in the auspicious coincidence of Nag Panchami and Mangala Gauri fast, one must also recite the fasting story of Nag Panchami and Mangala Gauri. There is religious belief that reciting the story on this day can remove all problems.
