Divya Shiv Mahapurana Madheshwar Shivling: CM Vishnu Dev Sai addressed the closing ceremony of Madheshwar Shivalinga of Jashpur to Jashpur. ₹ 10 crore has been received from the center, devotees and pilgrimage development is taking place fast.
Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai addressed the closing ceremony of the Divya Shiva Mahapuran Katha held near Madheshwar Pahar, the world’s largest natural Shivling in Mayali under Kunkuri development block of Jashpur district on the auspicious occasion of the holy Shravan month.
This seven -day Divya Katha series of Shravan month was organized by Mahamadheshwar Dham Committee from 28 July to 4 August 2025, in which famous narrator Pujya Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj of Ayodhya enchanted thousands of devotees with the Amritamayi Vani of Shiva Mahapuran. The Chief Minister, while bowing to all the saints associated with Vyaspeeth, expressed congratulations and gratitude to the committee for a grand event.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said in his address that Shiva and Shakti are in every particle of Chhattisgarh and the state gets spiritual energy from these devas. He informed that for the development of Madheshwar Mahadev Dham, an amount of ₹ 10 crore has been received from the Central Government, and the state government is working for a rapid infrastructure development and devotees.
Referring to the major sites of Virajit Lord Shiva in the state, the Chief Minister said that Madheshwar Pahar in Mayali, Baba Bhoramdev in Kawardha, Kuleshwar Mahadev in Rajim, Bhuteshwar Mahadev in Gariaband and Lakshmaneshwar Mahadev in Kharod of Janjgir-Champa are giving darshan to devotees in various forms. He said that this entire state is Shiva.
Shri Sai informed that the Shakti Corridor scheme has been started for the development of five major Shaktipeeths in Chhattisgarh. This includes Bamleshwari Devi of Dongargarh, Mahamaya Devi of Ratanpur, Chandrahasini Mata of Chandrapur, Danteshwari Devi of Dantewada. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, a new direction is being given to pilgrimage tourism.
Referring to Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana, the Chief Minister said that till now more than 22 thousand devotees have received the benefit of darshan of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya Dham. He said that this scheme has become a strong medium to connect the devotees with reverence for Lord Shri Ram.
Referring to the Chief Minister Tirthandarshan Yojana launched in this sequence, he said that under this scheme, the old devotees of the state are being given darshan of 19 major pilgrimage sites of the country, which is experiencing spiritual satisfaction and faith in life.
On the closing occasion, the Chief Minister wished the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the state and prayed that the grace of Baba Bholenath should always remain on all the devotees. He wished the Mahamadheshwar Dham Committee for the success of the event and said that the state government will make Chhattisgarh a new religious and tourism destination with the coordination of reverence, culture and development.
