PM Modi said, Pakistan continued to fight war and pseudo -war for decades, but Congress governments neither reviewed the Indus Water Agreement, nor Nehru ji’s big mistake ever improved. But now India has improved that old mistake- has taken concrete decisions. The historic blunder Indus Water Agreement done by Nehru ji was now put in abyance in the interest of the national interest and farmers. This agreement, which is harmful to the country, can no longer move forward in this form. India has made it clear-drying and water cannot flow together.
PM Modi also mentioned Nehru’s decision
Modi said that whenever a dam is built, there is a mechanism of dysilting. But Nehru ji admitted the condition at the behest of Pakistan that India cannot dislike these dams. Water is ours, dams us -but Pakistan’s decision! A dam is such that the dysilting gate has been built. Pakistan had written to Nehru ji that India would not dislike its own dam without the will of Pakistan. This agreement was against the interests of the country.
