On Gandhi’s death anniversary, CM Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to Gandhiji and freedom fighters by lighting a lamp and participating in the bhajan evening at the Lucknow Martyr Memorial. Gave the message of peace and harmony by lighting lamps on the banks of Gomti.
Lucknow. On the occasion of the death anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the martyr memorial site in Lucknow today. He participated in the lamp donation and bhajan evening program organized here. The Chief Minister paid humble tribute to Gandhiji by offering flowers on his portrait and remembered his ideals.
Message of participation and devotion in bhajan evening
During the program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the bhajan evening and also donated lamps. He paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and the immortal martyrs of the freedom struggle. When Gandhiji’s favorite bhajan “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram…” was played, the Chief Minister himself joined in the bhajan. This reflected his faith in Gandhiji’s ideas and values.
Donation of lamp on Gomati bank, message of peace
After the bhajan-sandhya, the Chief Minister reached Gomati bank located near the Martyr Memorial. Here he donated a lamp in memory of Mahatma Gandhi and the martyrs of the freedom struggle. Through this lamp donation, the message of peace, harmony and positive energy was given in the society.
Presence of distinguished guests in the program
On this occasion, MSME, Khadi and Village Industries Minister Rakesh Sachan, Lucknow Mayor Sushma Kharkwal and many distinguished guests were present. Everyone together paid tribute to Gandhiji and reiterated their resolve to follow the path shown by him.
