New Delhi: A businessman was robbed of Rs 2.5 lakh by three bike-borne men in Delhi last week. A CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced. The miscreants looted the businessman in the Shahbad Dairy police station area on January 14.
The criminals, who were on a motorcycle, knocked the businessman off his bike and then threatened him with a knife before robbing him of the cash.
In the clip, the three men, who were on their motorcycle, can be seen approaching the businessman and then robbing him at knifepoint. They later fled the spot after robbing the man. Based on the CCTV footage and technical surveillance, the police took action and arrested all three accused from the Vijay Vihar area of Rohini.
The police have also seized the motorcycle used in the crime and recovered approximately Rs 2.25 lakh of the stolen money from the criminals. All the accused are reportedly residents of the Vijay Vihar area of Rohini. The police are conducting further legal proceedings.
