In this, tears were clearly visible in the eyes of victim Ravi Gulati and breakdown in his voice when he shared his story. Ravi told that he was married to Himani on 25 April 2010. Both of them have children and he always believed that there are ups and downs in marriage, but compromise is necessary to save the family.
Wife was caught earlier also
According to Ravi, for the first time in the year 2018, his wife was caught in the hotel with another person. At that time the future of the children was in front. The wife’s parents came, apologies were made, promises were made and Ravi forgave everything with a heavy heart. He felt that humans make mistakes and with time everything will be fine.
But this time the story became more painful. Ravi told that his wife left the house around 3-3:30 in the afternoon and even after calling, he did not pick up the call. Due to pre-existing suspicion, he had installed a GPS tracker in the scooter. When I checked the location, it was pointing towards a hotel. After closing the shop, Ravi reached there and what he saw was the biggest shock of his life. His wife was once again in the hotel with another man.
How did you know your wife’s whereabouts?
Ravi says crying, ‘I was living in doubt for a year…that’s why I got GPS installed. I thought that maybe my suspicions were wrong, but today the whole truth came out.
This whole matter has shaken the family to the core. Ravi’s father Parvez Gulati said that this problem is not new. Even five-seven years ago, both the families had sat down and resolved the matter. Even a meeting was held at the house of an MLA, an apology was made and everyone thought that now life will be back on track.
But this time the wife clearly said that she no longer wants to live with Ravi and wants to return to her maternal home. The family alleges that the man with whom he was caught was introduced to the house by the wife, calling him her ‘brother’ who used to visit the house frequently.
