This tragic incident happened in a private hospital in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The girl’s face and stomach were completely burnt and she died. The girl’s body was in such a condition that it could not be seen. This tragic incident happened on Sunday evening, due to which the girl’s parents are shocked and the family members have expressed their anger against the hospital.

Baby girl kept in incubator to keep warm burnt alive

The accident occurred yesterday evening due to a fire in a warmer machine kept in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) of a private hospital, in which a newborn girl was put to sleep. As a result, the baby girl was burnt alive just hours after birth due to the negligence of the hospital staff.

The tragedy occurred at Raja Nursing Home located in Brahmanagar area of ​​Bithoor. According to the girl’s family, the baby was born in this hospital and was admitted to the NICU after birth. Meanwhile, a fire broke out, due to which the girl got badly burnt. His face, chest, stomach and thighs were badly burnt and his body turned black due to the fire. No one could save him. The family members have accused the hospital staff of serious negligence. Angered by the girl’s death, the relatives created a ruckus in the hospital, after which the girl’s aunt lodged a complaint against the hospital at the Bithoor police station and the matter is under investigation.

Warmer machine caught fire and innocent child burnt alive

The parents have alleged that even after 5 hours of the incident, the hospital kept this fact hidden from them. The girl who lost her life in this accident belonged to Arun Nishad, a resident of Bakarganj. Bittu, wife of Arun Nishad, who works in a private company, suffered labor pain on Sunday morning, after which he brought his wife to Raja Hospital. There the doctors asked for surgery, after which she gave birth to a daughter at around 4 pm. This was the couple’s first child. After delivery, the doctors shifted the wife to the ward and admitted their daughter to the NICU of the hospital. But the warmer machine in the NICU where the baby was sleeping caught fire and the baby died shortly after birth. The hospital staff kept this incident hidden from the parents for four-five hours.

Expressing deep anger over this incident, Arun Nishad said, “This hospital should be closed and action should be taken against the entire staff. When we asked to see the girl, the staff started talking about admitting her. Late in the evening, when we repeatedly asked to see our daughter and they did not show, then the staff told us about the incident. This accident happened due to the negligence of the hospital staff. The hospital authorities are responsible for my daughter’s death. The hospital should be closed.” And action should be taken against the entire staff.

The hospital offered Rs 2 lakh to the victim’s family to solve the case.

The relatives alleged that when they created a ruckus in the hospital after the girl’s death, the hospital management tried to pacify them and offered them Rs 2 lakh to hush up the matter. The family became even more angry at the hospital staff for imposing the price of an innocent life lost due to negligence. Later the police reached the spot and calmed down the situation. The girl’s mother cried and said that she could not see her daughter alive even once. Prema, the girl’s grandmother, said, “I was very eager to see my granddaughter. I was happy that Lakshmi had come to my house. But, she became a victim of negligence.”
