The first ticket for Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film OG has been sold at auction for a staggering Rs 5 lakh. The 54 year of actor-politician, celebrated his birthday on September, and fans celebrated the special day in a unique way.
An online auction was held to sell the first ticket for his upcoming film OG in Nizam, and it was sold a whopping Rs 5 lakh! In a video of on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, it was revealed that Team Pawan Kalyan North America have secured the first ticket. The proceeds from this ticket will be donated to support Pawan Kalyan’s political party.
Pawan Kalyan’s OG Ticket Sold For Rs 5 Lakh
On the eve of his birthday, fans of Pawan Kalyan, organised an online auction for the very first ticket to the Nizam screening of his upcoming film OG on X Spaces. The bidding escalated, and Team Pawan Kalyan North America secured the ticket for Rs 5 lakh. The funds from the auction are set to be donated to Pawan’s Janasena Party.
In a video from the event found online, the host can be heard announcing, “Nizam, first ticket auction winner (is) Team Pawan Kalyan North America for 5 lakh. This money will be donated to the Janasena Party within 3 days.”
OG is one of the three films Pawan Kalyan agreed to star in before entering politics and taking the role of Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. His party, the Jana Sena Party (JSP), secured a victory in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh elections in alliance with the TDP and BJP. The other two film commitments was director Krish and Jyothi Krishna’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh. While Hari Hara Veera Mallu failed to win at the box office, the shoot of Ustaad Bhagat Singh is currently underway.
