Odisha: The student who set herself on fire in college died in AIIMS, CM confident of action – News Himachali News Himachali

According to the information, the student was brought to the ICU of AIIMS Burns Center at 5:15 pm on July 12 after being referred from Balasore District Headquarters Hospital. As soon as he arrived, the doctors started emergency treatment and in view of the seriousness of his condition, he was being given antibiotics and was kept on ventilator. Despite intensive care and advanced medical interventions, the student could not be saved. AIIMS officials have confirmed that they were declared dead at 11:46 pm on 14 July.

At the same time, after the death of the student in AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said, “As soon as we got the news, we came to meet her (victim) family, doctors and everyone. It is very sad that we all could not save them together. The government will take strict action against all the people involved in this. The matter will be thoroughly investigated. Strict action will be taken against all the people involved.”
