Obesity in India
What will be the benefit of reducing oil intake?
To know the answer to this question, we He has interacted with Dr. Subhash Giri, Director Professor in the Department of Medicine at RML Hospital. Dr. Subhash says that any kind of oil contains fat. A tablespoon oil has about 120 calories. Some people use more oil in cooking, this gradually increases weight and body fat. Repeated heating the oil creates trans fats, which increase the risk of heart diseases along with weight gain. If people cut 10% of oil in their diet, which obviously will help a lot towards reducing obesity. There is no need to spend any separate spending in this nor take a diet.
