The government is preparing to present both these 27th Constitution Amendment Bills in the National Assembly of Pakistan. After the presentation of this bill, the army in Pakistan, which was till now the indirect head, will now become the direct head. A National Security Council (NSC) will be formed to carry out major tasks across Pakistan in which people associated with the military, ISI and military leadership will play a major role. That means, overall, Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir will become a super powerful man. Pakistan’s army and civil administration will be under his control.
