This new service will run from Kolad in Maharashtra to Verna in Goa, significantly reducing travel time and offering a more comfortable and efficient alternative to road travel.
Currently, it takes around 20 to 22 hours to drive from Mumbai or Pune to Goa due to heavy traffic and winding roads. However, with this new car ferry train, the journey will take only 12 hours. The train will depart from Kolad at 5 PM and reach Verna by 5 AM the next morning.
