Hair Loss Cure Without Transplant: Now the treatment of hair loss is not limited to medicines or hair transplant. Scientists have discovered in a new research that the roots that grow hair in the skin of our head needs to be activated again. This means that the roots of our hair do not end completely, but fall asleep in a way. If they are woke up again, hair can grow again.
Research published in Stem Cell Research & Therapy states that these hair roots i.e. hair follicles work with some systems of the body. When these systems stop talking among themselves, the follicles also gradually become inactive. This is why hair starts falling. But the good thing is that if these systems start functioning properly again, the hair can come back.
Scientists have also told that some small chemicals, gene editing technology and stem cells can be taken help to re-activate the follicles. This method is still in the research stage, but it is expected that its trial can also start on humans in the next 1 to 2 years.
What do experts say?
- Dr. Debraj Shom, Facial Plastic Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Surgery Department It is said that when the hair falls, their roots do not die, they just go to sleep. Now scientists have understood how to wake up those sleeping follicles again. So far, the treatment such as hair oil, minoxidil or medicines, they definitely slow down the speed of hair loss, but they do not give sure treatment.
- Now the focus is not just on preventing hair loss, but is on the growth of hair again. This research shows that later everyone can be given separate treatment according to their body and genes, so that better and quick results can be given.
- Doctors say that the most common reason for hair loss is “Androogenetic allopacea”, in which hair roots become weak. But according to this new research, if we do the right treatment at the right time, the hair can be increased again, without any surgery or transplant.
In this research, some special elements (such as welproic acid and chir99021) have been identified which can activate hair roots. Along with this, expectations have also increased with stem cell therapy and gene editing technology.
