Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a complete ban on Halal certification. CM Yogi said that now no product will be sold in UP without Halal certificate, strict action will be taken.
Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday made a big statement regarding Halal certification and clearly said that now Halal certificate will not be issued on any product in the state. He clarified that “Halal certification has been completely banned in UP”. He also appealed to the citizens to pay GST while purchasing goods and also check that the product does not have a Halal certificate.
Complete ban on Halal certification
The Chief Minister said, “While buying goods, check one thing – whether Halal certification is written on it. We have banned it in UP and I do not think anyone will have the audacity to sell or buy it. But you will be shocked, now even soaps and clothes are having Halal written on them.”
Yogi Adityanath said that when investigation was started on this, it was found that business worth about Rs 25 thousand crore is done through Halal certification in the country. He said, “These institutions have not been recognized by any agency of the Government of India or the State Government. All this money is misused in activities like terrorism, love jihad and religious conversion.”

“Exploitation in the name of Halal certification is unacceptable”
The Chief Minister said that the Uttar Pradesh government has initiated major action against this conspiracy. He appealed to the public, “While purchasing any item, ensure that it does not have Halal certificate. We should pay GST to the government, but do not pay even a single penny in the name of Halal certification. Because this money will be used in a conspiracy against you.”
He said that strict action is being taken against the people associated with this network. An accused named Chhangur has been arrested in Balrampur and sent to jail.
“Why is political Islam not discussed?”- CM Yogi
During his address, Chief Minister Yogi said that in our country the fight against the British is discussed, but political Islam is not discussed. He said, “Political Islam attacked our faith. Our ancestors fought not just against British or French colonialism but also against political Islam. Veer Shivaji and Maharana Pratap are symbols of this.”
SP and Congress also targeted
In his speech, Chief Minister Yogi also made a scathing attack on Congress and SP. He said, “Congress had done the work of denying Lord Shri Ram and Shri Krishna. An affidavit was given in the court saying that Lord Ram and Krishna are myths. SP had mercilessly opened fire on Ram devotees.”
Yogi told that today the whole world is coming to Ayodhya to have darshan of Lord Shri Ram. “Last year, 6 crore people visited Ayodhya, while more than 66 crore devotees visited the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. But parties like Congress and SP have always found fault in it.”
