Let us tell you that 55 year old IP Gupta is a civil engineer and businessman and runs his own political party in the name of Indian Inclusive Party. He became MLA from Saharsa seat in the 2025 assembly elections. By securing 1 lakh 15 thousand votes, he defeated BJP’s Alok Ranjan Jha by two thousand votes. IP Gupti was in Congress Party. He contested the 2020 elections from Sikandra as an independent candidate but lost. After meeting Rahul Gandhi just before the 2025 elections, he broke ties with the Congress party and showed his caste strength by holding a rally of Pan-Tanti community in Patna Gandhi Maidan. He is also the National President of All India Pan Federation.
Before the elections, he formed a new party IPP and by meeting Tejashwi Yadav, he managed to get three seats in the grand alliance in the 2025 elections. He won the election while two other candidates lost. IP Gupta is a native of Patauna in Jamui district and has done M.Tech in Civil Engineering from MD University Rohtak, Haryana.
