According to Cleartrip’s ‘Unpacked 2025’ report, a growth of 650% has been recorded in travel bookings this year. The report also says that Gen-Z is a big factor in this growth. 2025 has been a year of travel for Indians. This year made it clear that Indians love nature and spiritual journeys. According to the report, due to increase in spirituality and nature based travel, the number of people visiting Varanasi and Andaman Islands has increased by an average of 20%. Statistics show that the interest of tourists in visiting Uttar Pradesh has increased significantly.
There has been a huge increase in people’s searches for hotels in Prayagraj and Bareilly. There was a 3 times increase in searches for hotels in Prayagraj, while there was a 4 times increase in searches for hotels in Bareilly. Apart from this, the report states that solo traveling has also gained immense popularity. Delhi and Bengaluru remained at the forefront in this matter. Solo travelers liked Himachal Pradesh, Jaipur, Agra, Coorg, Ooty and Kodaikanal the most.
