Shraddha Kapoor is currently gearing up for Laxman Utekar’s Eetha. While at it, she has also been approached by director Amar Kaushik and producer Dinesh Vijan for the upcoming mythological epic, Mahavatar .
In fact, reports suggest that she is the top choice to star opposite Vicky Kaushal. Here’s everything we know so far.
Shraddha Kapoor approached for Mahavatar opposite Vicky Kaushal
The makers of Stree are all set to bring to us a mythological film, Mahavatar, and the movie will see Kaushal as the eternal warrior of dharma, Parashurama. Without a doubt, the movie is going to be the director-producer duo’s most ambitious film ever.
As per a Mid-day report, Shraddha is in advanced discussions with the makers, and if things work out, the movie is likely to go on floors soon. The report said, “Shraddha fits the brief perfectly. The team was keen on someone who brings star value and presence. Plus, the Vicky-Shraddha pairing will be fresh, and the makers are confident this combination will resonate with the audience.”

Meanwhile, it should be noted that Shraddha isn’t the first star approached for the film or linked to Mahavatar. Earlier, there were reports that was in talks with the makers to play the female lead in the movie. However, it looks like it’s now all about Shraddha, instead.
On the work front, Shraddha is currently working on Eetha, which is based on Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar’s life. For the unversed, he was a Pandharpur-born Tamasha artist.
Meanwhile, Randeep Hooda will be seen opposite the actress, and the team had recently concluded the Pune schedule. The film’s official release date hasn’t been announced yet.
As for Shraddha’s Stree franchise, it is confirmed that she is also working on Stree 3.
