Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is constantly reviewing the progress of the project and is giving top priority to its time-bound construction. His effort is to ensure that the farmers and families who made this project possible by donating their land get maximum benefits.
Interest of Project Affected Families (PAF) gets top priority
According to Rakesh Kumar Singh, CEO, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), several special programs have been launched for the welfare of Project Affected Families (PAF) on the initiative of the Chief Minister.
Under PPP model, Yamuna International Airport Pvt. Ltd. (YIAPL) and Noida International Airport Ltd. More than 30 major companies including Tata Projects, Indian Oil and Bird Group are involved in this airport being built under the leadership of (NIAL). More than 5,000 employment opportunities are being provided under the project. Along with this, all the government benefits including minimum wages, PF, ESI and gratuity are also being given to all the employees.
Comprehensive arrangement of employment and skill development for PAF youth
More than 180 candidates have been registered on the PAF Career Portal to connect the youth with employment. More than 300 youth participated in three special recruitment camps, out of which offer letters have been issued to 24 youth. ITI Jewar has been equipped with modern facilities to promote skill development. Courses like passenger handling and ramp operations were conducted here. Out of 28 trainees included in these courses, 24 have successfully got employment.
Apart from this, around 100 PAF youth have also been given English and soft skills training. All these initiatives are being jointly monitored by a committee of NIAL, District Administration and YIAPL.
State-of-the-art and eco-friendly airport with net-zero emissions
Noida International Airport will be a major airport of India based on the target of Net-Zero Emission. In this, a unique combination of Swiss efficiency and Indian hospitality will be seen. This airport, with an annual capacity of 1.2 crore passengers in the initial phase, will develop as a major economic hub for western Uttar Pradesh. This airport, to be built under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, will not only provide better infrastructure facilities in the area, but will also open new doors for employment, investment and opportunities.
