Noida International Airport: Union Civil Aviation Minister K.K. Rammohan Naidu has announced the inauguration date of Noida International Airport.

According to him, the airport will be inaugurated on 30 October 2025. Flights will be started from here by mid -December, about 45 days after the inauguration. Initially flights will start to 10 big cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata.

Airlines flight will start after 45 days

Minister Naidu said that IndiGo and Air India Express have been talked about starting flights. He said that this airport will prove to be a “game-changer” not only for Noida but also for the entire NCR region. The airport will be connected to six expressways and one rapid rail-cum-matro. There will also be a provision of pod taxi for the convenience of passengers here. After being operational, this airport will work with the ‘DXN’ code.

Runway trials were conducted at the airport on 9 December

On December 9, runway trials were carried out at the airport, in which a commercial aircraft made a successful landing. Earlier in July, the Airport Authority had fixed rules regarding the height of the buildings within a radius of 20 km so that there was no problem in security. The Civil Aviation Minister also informed that there is a plan to upgrade Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad. For this, 9 acres of land has been sought from the Uttar Pradesh government.
