With the rise of working parents, the concept of daycare is emerging at a significant pace, and one at Paras Tierea is among the numerous such units running in residential complexes in the Delhi NCR region.
Initially, the baby’s parents thought that the mark was due to some allergy they only decided to visit the doctor after the teacher at the daycare flagged the mark. When the doctor told the parents that it was a bite mark, horrified by this information couple decided to watch the CCTV footage and asked the residential complex authorities to show them the CCTV videos.
The footage shows the attendant hitting the infant on her face and also dropping her intentionally. The baby is seen crying in the footage.
After the complaint of the parents, an FIR has been registered at Sector 142 police station. The couple also accused the owner and the attendant of verbally abusing and threatening them when they confronted them about the assault on their baby.
