The Yogi government has set a target of developed UP 2047. By 2030, it has been resolved to make UP a leader in agricultural productivity globally in the country by number-1 and 2047. Food processing, cold chain, FPO and research will benefit farmers.

Yogi adityanath Agriculture vision: Uttar Pradesh is now not only the center of India’s politics, but also the future of agricultural revolution. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has presented a 22 -year vision with the resolve of “developed UP @2047”, which will not only change the lives of farmers but will lead the state a leader in agricultural productivity and exports globally.

Double target of 2030 and 2047

The Yogi government has set targets in two phases for the agriculture sector.

  • By 2030: Creating UP in crop productivity and agricultural exports in the country.
  • By 2047: Including the queue of countries like Mexico, China, France and America on the global stage.

UP is also ready to show power in agricultural exports. By 2047, its name will be counted among top agricultural exporting countries like Russia, Australia and Canada.

New facilities to farmers

  • The government has taken several important steps to strengthen the agriculture sector:
  • Large investment on storage and price promotion

  • Make UP an agricultural hub by promoting agricultural education and research

Big change in last eight years

Prior to 2017, cold chains, processing and modern technology in Uttar Pradesh were almost negligible. Farmers struggled to get the right price for their produce. But the Yogi government changed the picture in eight years.

  • The mandi system was strengthened.
  • Storage and cold chain facilities expanded.
  • The FPO model and agricultural innovation were promoted.

Today, UP is touching new heights in both agricultural productivity and diversification.

Farmers travel from state to country

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the farmers of UP will not only meet the needs of the state and the country in the coming time, but will also contribute to providing food security to the world. This is the real goal of “developed UP @2047”.
