Donald Trump has imposed 50 percent tariff on India
Let us know that Donald Trump had first imposed 25 percent tariff on imports from India. After this, due to purchasing oil from Russia, 25 percent additional tariff was applied. The total tariff has increased to 50%. The new tariffs will be effective from August 26.
There is talk of bilateral trade agreement between India and the US. When Trump imposed a 25 per cent tariff, it was expected that there would be some consensus between the two countries on the fees, but 25 per cent of additional tariffs have been cloudy over business agreement. The US demands that India open its dairy and agricultural sector for import of American products. India is not willing to allow goods made of American non -veg milk to import. Experts say that Trump is using Tariff to pressurize India for an agreement. At the same time, the Government of India is not ready to bow down to this strategy of pressure.
