“No Fault of India…” World Championship of Legends organizer opens up as after Ind vs Pak match got cancelled

The World Champions of Legends (WCL) sources on Monday updated that the organizer’s of the tournament have shared serious concern with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) that the India vs Pakistan match which was supposed to be played at Edgbaston in Birmingham won’t happen and clarified that there is no fault of India.

According to the reports, several former Indian players refused to play the fixture.

Most of the Indian players denied being a part of the India vs Pakistan match in The World Champions of Legends (WCL) due to the Pahalgam terror attack on tourist on April 22, which shocked the whole world

According to the reliable sources, the India vs Pakistan match was called off due to some Indian players denying to participate in the fixture against their rivals. Pakistan Champions clarified that they won’t share the points with India Champions

Speaking about this conflict, WCL sources ANI ‘WCL have conveyed to England and Wales Cricket Board that they, as organisers, were not able to conduct this match. The India Champions team are not at fault. Pakistan Champions team are not willing to share points because they are saying that it is India who backed out, not them.’

Former Indian Legends Suresh Raina and Shikhar Dhawan who is currently playing in WCL for Team India also stated that they would not participate in the India Champions vs Pakistan Champions match along with them some players denied to take a part in the game.

Dhawan shared a post on X, In which we can clearly see that Shikhar Dhawan wrote an email to the organizers and described why he dragged his name from the match of India vs Pakistan. The current geo-political situation forces Gabbar to not participate in the match and choose his nation as the first priority.
