CM Mohan Yadav in Samuhik Vivah Indore: In the mass marriage ceremony of 251 couples along with Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Gyan Ganga organized at Shipra in Indore district, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that among the 16 rituals of Sanatan culture, water absorption ceremony has a special place. This sanskar lays a strong foundation of continuity of family tradition and social balance. CM said that the completion of the marriage ceremony in the company of saints and with events like mass marriage is a symbol of good fortune and a special coincidence.
Group marriage gives the message of harmony and simplicity – Chief Minister
Dr. Mohan Yadav said that mass marriage ceremonies give the message of harmony and simplicity instead of social discrimination, ostentation and extravagance. Such events strengthen the feeling of equality, brotherhood and cooperation in the society. He appealed to all sections of the society to promote events like mass marriages and ensure their participation in them.
Chief Minister shared his experiences
Giving an example from his life, the Chief Minister said that he also married his doctor son in a mass marriage ceremony. He said that the joy and satisfaction of mass marriages that take place without any discrimination based on caste or caste is amazing.
Stop wasteful expenditure and invest in education and family – CM
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed concern over unnecessary expensive traditions in events like marriages and funerals. He said, ‘If we stop wasteful expenditure, then the same money and resources can be used for children’s education, health and betterment of the family.’ This thinking is an important step towards making the society self-reliant and empowered.
Appeal to avail benefits of government schemes
The Chief Minister also inspired the gathering to take advantage of various welfare schemes run by the state government. He said that the government is committed to the upliftment of every section of the society and only aware citizens can avail the real benefits of these schemes.
Newly married couples were blessed by showering flowers.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav blessed 251 newly married couples by showering flowers on them. He prayed to God that all the new couples get wealth, fame, fame and a happy married life. Also called upon the newly married couples to serve their parents and contribute to the welfare of the society. On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silavat, BJP State President Hemant Khandelwal and Hitanand Sharma were specially present.
