Made safe from vegetables to spices and pulses

Piyush Goyal also shared the list of milk products, fruits, vegetables and spices protected by the government in the trade agreement. The vegetables whose import is restricted include potatoes, peas, cucumbers and frozen pickled vegetables, beans, other legumes (with or without skin), temporarily preserved vegetables like cucumber and mushrooms (Agaricus species) and mixed canned vegetables.

On the other hand, Piyush Goyal has also shared a list of dairy products. Those who have been given protection by the government in trade deals. Which includes milk (liquid, powder, candy etc.), cheese (mozzarella, blue veined, grated/powdered etc.), cream, butter, curd, cheese and other products, buttermilk, whey products etc., butter and ghee.

If we talk about grains, they have been brought under the ambit of protection. Which includes ragi, wheat, copra, amaranth, siamak, maize, millet, rice, barley, oats, jowar, maida, flour (wheat, maize, rice, millet etc.).

Masanas have also been provided security in this deal. Which includes black pepper, long green chilli, dry green chilli, cinnamon (bark, flowers etc.), coriander, cumin, asafoetida, ginger, turmeric, celery, fenugreek, mustard, mustard, husk and other powdered spices.

What will America get from India?

Details of the US-India trade deal were revealed on Saturday. The White House said India will eliminate or reduce tariffs on all US industrial goods and a wide range of food and agricultural products, including dry grains (DDG), red sorghum for animal feed, nuts, fresh and processed fruits, soybean oil, wine and spirits and other products.

Under comprehensive economic cooperation, India expressed willingness to buy US energy products, aircraft and aircraft parts, precious metals, technology products and coking coal worth US$500 billion over the next five years. The two sides also agreed to significantly increase trade in technology products, including graphics processing units used in data centers, and expand joint technology cooperation.

The US and India committed to removing barriers to digital trade and paving the way for strong, mutually beneficial digital trade rules under the bilateral trade agreement (BTA). Both sides said that they will expeditiously implement the Framework and work towards finalizing the Interim Agreement, so as to conclude a comprehensive and mutually beneficial BTA in line with the agreed roadmap.
