On the second anniversary of the consecration of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath talked about bravery, glory and development. Big statements related to Ram temple, Ayodhya development, 45 crore devotees and Sanatan Dharma.

Ayodhya, the trinity of faith, struggle and determination, once again witnessed a moment of history, when ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi’, the second anniversary of the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla, was celebrated with reverence and grandeur in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. On this special occasion, the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave a historic character to the ceremony. While wishing the English New Year 2026, the Chief Minister prayed that the coming year proves to be auspicious for the country and society.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in his address that as soon as the name of Ayodhya comes, one gets a sense of bravery, glory and bravery. This is the land where there has never been a war and no enemy has been able to stand before its might. He said that due to selfishness, religious passion and bad politics of appeasement of power, some people tried to make this holy city a center of disturbance and conflict, but the victory of truth and faith was ultimately assured.

Terrorist attacks that took place during the previous governments

Taking aim at the previous governments, the Chief Minister said that in Ayodhya, where there was never any conflict, there were even terrorist attacks during their rule. Referring to the 2005 incident, he said that the terrorists had audacity, but the PAC soldiers took immediate action and killed them. He said that where there is the grace of Lord Shri Ram and the blessings of Hanuman ji in Hanumangarhi, terror cannot survive there.

Three unforgettable dates for Ayodhya

CM Yogi said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ayodhya has seen such historical moments in the past years, which can never be forgotten. On August 5, 2020, for the first time a Prime Minister came to Ayodhya and performed Bhoomi Pujan of Shri Ram Temple. The consecration of the grand statue of Ramlala was completed on 22 January 2024. On the occasion of Vivah Panchami on 25 November 2025, the saffron flag of Sanatan Dharma was established on the main peak of Ram temple, which gave the message of the unbroken tradition of Sanatan.

Rajnath Singh’s important role in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Rajnath Singh played a direct role in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement at both the organizational and governance levels. He said that the scene of Ram Lalla being seated in the grand temple after 500 years is a moment of pride and emotion for everyone associated with the movement.

Arrival of 45 crore devotees in five years

CM Yogi said that before 2017, there was lack of basic facilities in Ayodhya. Today the situation has completely changed. More than 45 crore devotees have reached Ayodhya in the last five years. Ayodhya has become the country’s first solar city, it has an international airport, double line connectivity of railways and a network of four-lane roads all around.

Now Jaishree Ram can speak everywhere

Gorakshpeethadhishwar said that once upon a time, people used to get sticks and bullets for chanting Jaishree Ram, but today this proclamation has become a symbol of respect and pride in the entire country. Referring to the new ‘Ji Ram Ji’ scheme of the Central Government, he said that it will prove to be a big step towards rural employment, which will ensure employment in the villages itself.

The movement continued regardless of sticks and bullets

The Chief Minister said that Ram devotees fought continuously from 1528 to 1992 and thereafter. The movement continued to move forward regardless of power, repression, sticks and bullets. Under the leadership of RSS and the guidance of Sant Samaj, this movement reached the heights of success and the construction of a grand Ram temple became possible by erasing the stigma of slavery.

This is not a break, this is the beginning of a new journey.

At the end of his address, CM Yogi said that completion of two years of Pran-Pratishtha is not the end of any journey, but the beginning of a new journey. Every follower of Sanatan Dharma will have to come forward to maintain the divinity and grandeur of Ayodhya forever. Emphasizing on collective efforts to realize Prime Minister Modi’s concept of a developed India, he said that these efforts will establish India as a major power in the world.
