Under the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana, eligible families get cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh annually in government and empaneled private hospitals.

What is the specialty of Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana

Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana is a state level health insurance scheme of the UP government, which has been started for those who were left out of the Ayushman Bharat scheme. More than 25 thousand diseases and treatment procedures have been covered under this scheme, so that the family does not get trapped in financial crisis at the time of serious illness.

Treatment of heart, kidney and even cancer without any expense

The scheme covers expensive services like heart bypass surgery and angioplasty, kidney transplant, cancer chemotherapy, neurosurgery, brain tumor, maternity and delivery. A total of more than 1500 medical packages are covered under this scheme, due to which the patient does not have to pay even a single rupee to the hospital.

Who can take advantage of this scheme

Only those people who are permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh can avail the benefit of this scheme. Registered laborers in the unorganized sector, those BPL families who could not join SECC 2011, helpless and destitute elderly and disabled persons come under the scope of this scheme.

Application process is easy, treatment will be available through Golden Card

Application for Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana can be made both online and offline. Golden Card is issued to eligible beneficiaries after submission of documents on the official website or nearest Jan Suvidha Kendra. Through this card, free, cashless treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is possible in government and listed private hospitals.
