NDA Bihar Govt Formation: Bihar politics is going to write history once again. On November 20, JDU President Nitish Kumar will take oath as the Chief Minister of the state for the 10th time. Preparations have started on a large scale for the formation of the new NDA government. This time Gandhi Maidan is going to become a great political power centre. According to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be present in this grand ceremony. Along with him, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Dharmendra Pradhan, Chirag Paswan, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Yogi Adityanath and many Chief Ministers of NDA ruled states will attend the program.
Patna Gandhi Maidan closed for general public from 17 to 20 November
Patna district administration on Sunday announced that Gandhi Maidan will remain completely closed for the general public from November 17–20. During this period, only officers and security forces involved in preparations for the swearing-in will be allowed to enter. Work on ground decoration, stage, safety cover and crowd management has all started at a rapid pace.
Who will become ministers in Bihar?
The seat sharing formula has been decided within the NDA. This time small allies will also be given space. In the cabinet split which is considered possible, 16 ministers of BJP, 14 ministers of JDU and Chief Minister, 3 ministers of LJP (RV) i.e. Chirag Paswan’s party, 1 minister of HAM-S Manjhi and 1 minister of RLM Upendra Kushwaha can be made. According to reports, Snehlata, wife of Upendra Kushwaha, who won from Sasaram, may also get a ministerial post.
Last meeting of Bihar cabinet today
According to the notification of the Cabinet Secretariat, the last cabinet meeting has been called at 11:30 am on Monday. In this meeting there will be a recommendation to dissolve the current assembly. After this the CM and ministers will go to Raj Bhavan. Nitish Kumar will submit his resignation to the Governor, then the claim to form a new government will be staked. Soon after this, Nitish Kumar will be formally elected as the leader of the NDA legislature party in the joint meeting of JDU and then NDA MLAs.
The list of 243 newly elected MLAs was submitted to the Governor.
Chief Electoral Officer Vinod Singh Gunjiyal on Sunday handed over the list of 243 new MLAs to Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, formally declaring the election process complete. Along with this, the code of conduct was removed from the entire state.
Political turmoil continues to increase at Nitish’s residence
Even on Sunday, the movement of leaders continued at Nitish Kumar’s residence. Many big leaders like Union Minister Nityanand Rai, former Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha, RLM President Upendra Kushwaha discussed the strategy to form the new government. After this, Kushwaha and Vijay Sinha left for Delhi, where they met senior BJP leaders. Late night Manjhi and Kushwaha also met Dharmendra Pradhan in Delhi.
