Niti Taylor Opens Up On Casting Couch, Toxic Relationships, Abuses And Baby Planning

Actress Niti Taylor, popularly known for her role in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, recently opened up about her personal life in a raw interview. She talked about surviving the casting couch, escaping physically and emotionally abusive relationships, societal pressure regarding baby planning, and more.

Escaping A Direct Casting Couch Incident

Sharing the incident, Niti revealed she worked on a movie with a director in the South who offered her another film. She revealed this time he put it on the condition that she would sleep with him. Shocked by the blatant solicitation, Niti immediately cut the call, blocked the individual, and decided to distance herself from the movie industry to protect her personal safety.

Physically Abusive Ex-Boyfriend

Niti detailed a traumatic relationship from her younger years when she was shooting for Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan, admitting she was initially drawn to dominating personalities. She revealed that her former partner grew intensely controlling, constantly monitoring her outfits, scripts, and on-screen interactions with co-stars.

She further shared that her boyfriend even once slapped her as she refused his order. She revealed that once, after his birthday, he told her to wait with him at the birthday place, but since she and even her friends didn’t feel comfortable, she decided to leave. However, he tried to impose his decision, and even though she agreed to come back, he slapped her.

After that, her friends got her out of that situation and dropped her at her place. Later that night, he arrived at her residence, lost control, and deliberately stubbed a lit cigarette against her inner thigh, leaving a permanent physical scar.

Emotional Abuse And Cheating

Niti emphasized that emotional abuse is more hurtful and worse than physical abuse. She said it can be very difficult to overcome the past.

Detailing the relationship she had with a Delhi guy that has left a lasting mark in her mind, the actress shared that her ex used to call her things like “tu kitni choti hai”, “tu kitni moti hai”, “tera ye acha nahi hai,” etc which made her feel underestimated and demotivated.

Despite Niti handling her ex-boyfriend’s household demands and taking his parents on trips, he kept demotivating her while forcing her to validate him publicly on social media. Niti finally walked away for good after catching him red-handed in an act of physical infidelity.

Family Pressure For Baby

Niti, happily married to Indian Army officer Parikshit Bawa, shared that it happens, revealing that even on family trips, people ask them questions like when their turn will come.

Dealing with the questions, the actress credited her husband’s understanding mindset. Together, they seamlessly balance her rigorous shooting schedules with their relationship goals, refusing to let external timelines dictate their marriage.
