Nissan Teases Tekton SUV Before July 9 Reveal: Features, Engine Options, Expected Price

Nissan has just elevated anticipation of its all-new mid-size SUV, the Tekton, by teasing yet another new image ahead of the model’s  premiere on 9 July 2026. All set to be among the biggest Nissan launches in India in recent years, the new Tekton will hopefully breathe new life into the segment, the turf currently belonging to giants like the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos.

Titled ‘Baby Patrol’ by the company itself, Nissan’s latest teaser for the new Tekton reveals that the SUV’s styling cues will draw inspiration from the global design of Nissan’s large, flagship Patrol SUV.

The Tekton marks the comeback for Nissan to the mid-size SUV segment in India after discontinuing the Kicks. Based on the Alliance CMF-B platform it is underpinning the upcoming Renault Duster SUV as well, the all-new Tekton SUV will come with a complete Nissan-design treatment on the outside and inside.
