Nisanchi X review

Nisanchi, which has been released in the theatres today, on September 19, has received positive responses from the fans so far. Fans have even compared the film with Gangs Of Wasseypur. One user wrote, “Went to watch #Nischani for a special fan screening. Music is really folk, desi, and catchy. First half is so good that you will really enjoy every single frame with seeti-maar dialogues.  #AaishvaryThackrey & #vedikaPinto shine throughout. What a debut for them. Another user wrote praising the film, “Anurag Kashyap has once again brought back the Gangs of Wasseypur vibe. Nisanchi gives you that same feel. At a few points, the film feels a bit stretched. But Aishwarya Thackeray has done an absolutely badass, brilliant job. The songs feature some fresh experimentation. Anurag Kashyap has nailed it once again.”

About the movie

The story begins in Kanpur in 2006, where Babloo and Dabloo, portrayed by Aaishvary Thackeray, team up with Rinku (Vedika Pinto) for a daring bank heist. Babloo, now adopting the alias Tony Mantena, ends up in prison while the kind-hearted Dabloo and the determined dancer Rinku navigate the threats posed by a merciless antagonist, Ambika Prasad. Flashbacks reveal the hardships faced by their parents: a father who was a wrestler (Viineet Kumar Singh) and a mother who was a sharpshooter (Monika Panwar), both of whom made sacrifices for their family. The narrative is filled with themes of betrayal and hidden family secrets.
