Actor Raghav Juyal is well-known for his exceptional comic timing and lively persona. He frequently entertains audiences with his humorous style and remarkable dance moves, especially in slow motion. His co-star, actress Nikki Walia, has likened him to ‘Mowgli.’
In the upcoming comedy-drama film ‘Bhai Tera Star Hai,’ Nikki Walia plays the role of Mandy, a bold Punjabi woman living in London. Reflecting on her experience working with Raghav, she shared that it was a delightful journey. “I’ve liked Raghav since his ‘Dance India Dance’ days. First, he impressed me as a dancer, then as a host, and now as an actor. What I admire about him is his constant evolution. Watching him perform on set was a joy,” she said.
Nikki further mentioned, “When I watched his series ‘Bads of Bollywood,’ I met him, hugged him, and congratulated him. I told Raghav that in my opinion, he was the best actor in the entire series. Soon after, I got the chance to work with him in this film, which was a fantastic and fulfilling experience.”
The actress described Raghav as a very friendly person, making it feel as if they had known each other for a long time after their first meeting. “Geeta Ma is a mutual friend of ours. Raghav holds her in high regard, and he knows how close I am to her. During our conversations, we talked about Geeta Ma, which made everything easier and naturally improved our chemistry on set,” she added.
Nikki also revealed that their friendship has continued even after filming. “We had fun outside of the set too. We would have dinner together and chat after pack-up. Raghav is very generous. I always say he is like Mowgli. It’s rare to find such a genuine personality today, and that’s what makes him special.”
In addition to Raghav and Nikki, the film features Sanjay Kapoor, Barkha Singh, Niharika NM, and Chandan Roy Sanyal in key roles. Directed by Vivek B. Agrawal, the film is written by Sudipto Sarkar and Vivek B. Agrawal, with production by Avantika Hari, Sunil Rupani, and Vivek B. Agrawal. It is set to release on July 30.
