Greater Noida: Nikki Bhati’s death has become a mystery. Police claim that Nikki had told the doctors about the gas cylinder bursting, while the family is accusing him of murder and dowry harassment. Vipin and his family have been arrested.
Nikki bhati death mystery: The investigation into Nikki Bhati’s death has taken a significant turn, said that the woman has told the doctors that she suffered injuries due to a gas cylinder explosion. According to a senior police officer, this is recorded in the memo of the hospital, where doctors said that Nikki herself had described the cylinder explosion as the reason for her burning. This claim is completely opposite to Nikki’s sister Kanchan’s allegations, which emphasizes that Nikki was deliberately set on fire by her husband Vipin. Kanchan has accused Vipin that Nikki was tortured for a long time during his marriage in a family in Sirsa. Nikki died on August 21, which has increased the possibility of house disturbances.
The matter has become more complicated after several videos and contradictory statements surfaced. In CCTV recording of a nearby shop, Vipin is seen standing outside the house at the time of the incident. Another video allegedly recorded by Kanchan has a woman’s voice who is asking, “What have you done?” The police is confirming whether this voice is really from Kanchan. Despite this footage surfaced, Kanchan is adamant on his allegation that Nikki was a victim of domestic violence and his final statements have been described as his attacker. He has also released screenshots with alleged inappropriate conversation with Vipin’s other women.
On social media, he criticized how a surveillance clip has twisted people’s sympathy to the accused, and questioned the arguments of those who allege that Nikki set herself on fire to trap her husband. Vipin, his parents Daya and Satveer, and his elder brother Rohit have been arrested. All four have been accused of murder and dowry related crimes. In another video, Nikki’s mother -in -law is seen trying to calm down the sharp debate between Nikki and Vipin, once she slapped her own son when she tried to attack Nikki. Investigators are trying to confirm the deadline of this footage to better understand the dynamics of the house.

There is more controversy over the speed of Nikki’s funeral. Sources claim that his funeral was done the next morning, before his family filed an official complaint. In a video, Vipin’s father is seen performing the cremation, which raises more questions about what happened in the hours after Nikki’s death. Nikki’s cousin, Sunny Payla, has urged the authorities to collect and analyze the surveillance footage from inside the family’s house, arguing that it will provide more clarity than an external clip a broadcast. He expressed concern that only selected footage has been shared and the incidents related to the tragedy are hidden from the eyes of the public.
The police have so far recorded 10 to 12 statements from both sides of the family. They are now working to recreate the time limit of events and remove discrepancies that have come out. Investigators said that Kanchan’s testimony would be important in clarifying the contradictory facts at the core of the case and removing differences.
