Nidhi Bhanushali speaks about quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

During a recent interview with News18, Nidhi Bhanushali has spoken about her exit from the popular and one of the longest running TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She said, “At the time, transitioning out of it wasn’t the easiest, largely because I had been part of the show for so many years, and there were strong emotions involved on all sides. I did have a quiet concern that things could get complicated, as they sometimes do in such long-running setups, but nothing really did. And whatever did happen is perhaps not even worth remembering.”

She also spoke about whether there was any financial aspect involved in her exit, “I never paid much attention to that aspect. My reasons for moving on were deeply personal and creative. I don’t even recall the finer details anymore, because so much life has happened since. What’s stayed with me is the learning, the relationships, and the richness of that experience, and that’s what I choose to carry forward.”

Does she regret?

Concluding the conversation, the actress revealed, “Absolutely not, I wouldn’t change a thing about my journey. Every day feels like a gift from the divine, and I’ve been blessed with many beautiful ones. Some came wrapped in success, others in challenges, but all of them came with meaning.”

For the unversed, Nidhi Bhanushali portrayed the role of Sonalika Bhide in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah from 2012 till 2019.
