The purpose of organizing this program is to build a permanent house for older people living in NGO ‘Man Ka Tilak’. Jashn-e-Kavwali was started from Kovid to support the artist of Rampur Gharana in time. This time its fourth edition is being hosted. Niazi Nizami Brothers are a group of qawwali singers, including 3 brothers Hyder Nizami, Hasam Nizami and Imran Nizami. He belongs to the Secunderabad Gharana in Delhi and has been known for his Sufi music for a long time. He has many qawwali programs at Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi, where thousands of people reach to hear them.
The purpose behind the program
The purpose behind conducting this program is to give the roof of baseless elders. Wishes and BLESSING is running an old ashram, whose name is Tilak of the mind. NGOs from this ashram have supported many elderly people so far. At present, Ashram is running on rent in Saket’s ground Gadi. Let me tell you, it was started in the year 2018, which has supported 280 elderly people so far. This NGO provides free food, house and medicines to the destitute elders from home. However, the elders are not being taken care of properly from the rented ashram. At the same time, there are problems in supporting more people due to low space. In such a situation, the amount received from this program will help in taking a permanent place for the ashram.
Geetzanali Chopra, founder of Organization Wishes and Blesings, says that we want to create a society where life can be run smoothly with mercy. He says that whenever every one hand joins us, it increases us closer towards our purpose. We want that no elderly feel that they have been forgotten by the society. Jashn-e-Kavwali started during Kovid. During this time it was necessary to support the artists of Rampur Gharana because in the year 2020 there was a lockdown in the whole country and due to this the event industry was also badly affected. After this, the second and third edition was quite successful.
