Indo-German Startup Accelerator
The second edition of News9 Global Summit 2025 has started from Thursday. The ongoing event in Germany introduced its startup ecosystem to international markets through the Indo-German Startup Accelerator. Prominent entrepreneurs, artists and technology startups from various sectors participated in the event.
The event was opened by Ralf Eichhorn, the panel’s moderator. Welcoming the audience and the associated startups in India, he said that the objective of this initiative is to connect local and international startups and provide them opportunities for sustainable innovation.
Startups get cheap space
Volker Hasbargen, President of the Karlsruhe Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the importance of startups and said that the city has a strong base for young entrepreneurs. Karlsruhe KIT University encourages spin-off startups and provides low-rent work space for startups.
After India, now it’s Germany’s turn
Anuradha Nimbalkar from India introduced her company Unbox. He told that his product is not only suitable for children, but also for entrepreneurs and creative professionals. After success in India, they are now planning to enter the German market also.
Farmers will get benefits like this
Sven Asmussen shared details of the Only Greens startup, which focuses on vertical farming technology. He told that his aim is to provide technical support to farmers and entrepreneurs to grow and sell new and fresh vegetables in Germany and India. On the other hand, Shahnawaz Shaikh of Impact Hub Hyderabad said that his network is connected to more than 500,000 Impact Makers and provides international funding, mentorship and market exposure to sustainable startups in India.
