The end of July brings some varied new titles in series and films to catch up with before the month closes out. Apple TV’s limited series Cape Fear starring Javier Bardem and Amy Adams also ends this week. Besides the eagerly awaited OTT debut of The Devil Wears Prada 2, the animated series Batman: The Caped Crusader is back for a second season on Amazon Prime Video on July 29. Executive produced by JJ Abrams and Matt Reeves, Batman voiced by Hamish Linklater rallies with his allies to take down Gotham’s crime boss Rupert Thorne.
JioHotstar’s popular Tamil web series Heart Beat also returns for a third season on July 30. If K-dramas are more up your alley, the new series Dear X starring Kim Yoo-jung and Kim Young-dae revolves around a ruthless actress, Baek Ah-jin, who tries to hide her dark and manipulative side as she becomes famous.
