Actress Anushka Ranjan is embracing motherhood after welcoming twin daughters with husband Aditya Seal, recently sharing a tender glimpse of one of her newborns and saying she is already “hooked” on her little ones.
Anushka shared a close-up photograph on social media showing a tiny baby hand wrapped around an adult finger. The intimate frame captured the newborn comfortably lying on a bed, with the little fingers intertwined with those of the mother.
Sharing the picture, Anushka wrote, “I AM Hooked.”
Anushka and Aditya became parents to twin girls on August 23, 2026. The couple announced the birth on social media and revealed their daughters’ names as Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal.
The couple shared an illustrated announcement card featuring two baby girls surrounded by flowers, butterflies and birds, along with the message: “We are very excited to share the news! Our hearts are full as we welcome our baby girls, Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal, born on 23.08.2026.”
Aditya also shared a heartfelt note, writing, “My sunshines are here to brighten our lives. Our hearts are full of love and gratitude. Vira, Mahi. #TeamGirl.”
Motherhood came shortly after Anushka voiced her frustration over Mumbai’s traffic and potholes. On August 22, a day before giving birth, the actress posted a picture while stuck in traffic and criticised the city’s road conditions, describing the constant traffic and potholes as deeply unpleasant.
The couple had announced their pregnancy on May 29, 2026, with a series of maternity photographs in which Anushka proudly displayed her baby bump alongside Aditya.
Their announcement was accompanied by a romantic caption: “I’ve waited a hundred years, But I’d wait a million more for you. Nothing prepared me for, What the privilege of being yours would do.”
