New light in Ujjain Mahakal Lok: CM Mohan Yadav started light and sound show, band and Shri Anna Laddu Prasad

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Light and Sound Show, Mahakaleshwar Band and Shri Anna Laddu Prasad at Mahakal Lok in Ujjain. This initiative will provide a confluence of devotion, culture and health to the devotees.

In Ujjain, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Light and Sound Show, Mahakaleshwar Band and Shri Anna Laddu Prasad at Mahakal Lok Complex. On this occasion, he said, “Band has its own importance. In our country, since ancient times, instruments like conch, drums and gongs have been a part of wars. The sound of conch was considered a symbol of bravery. Today, the establishment of band in the court of Mahakal is the modern form of this tradition.”

The Chief Minister congratulated everyone for this new initiative. He told that now laddus made from Shri Anna (millets) have been included in the Prasad of Mahakal instead of gram flour, so that the devotees observing fast do not face any difficulty. He said that this Prasad connects us to the tribal areas, where Shri Anna is mainly used.

Three new gifts together in Mahakal world

CM Dr. Yadav said that today three important gifts have been found in Mahakal Lok on the banks of Rudrasagar – Light and Sound Show, Mahakaleshwar Band and Shri Anna Laddu Prasad. These gifts are a matter of pride not only for Ujjain but for the entire country and state.

He said, “Everyone has the right on Baba Mahakal. Every activity here is a part of our Sanatani culture and tradition. The sparkling lights and fireworks of Mahakal Lok make us realize that the country is changing rapidly under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

The Chief Minister also said that the inauguration of Mahakal Lok has revived the glorious story of ancient Avantika. Avantika i.e. Ujjain has been blessed by great kings like Lord Shiva to Vikramaditya. For this reason, this city has its own identity in the country and the world.

Light and sound show starts in Mahakal Lok

The Chief Minister said that Shivpuran and other religious stories have been beautifully presented in the light and sound show started at Mahakal Lok. Through this, devotees will not only be able to know the stories of Lord Mahakal, but will also be familiar with the glorious history and cultural heritage of Ujjain.

He said that this show will deepen the devotion of the devotees and will become a medium to connect them with their past. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that this program has been organized on the day of Maa Lakshmi Puja, which is a very auspicious coincidence.

Mahakaleshwar’s own band becomes attraction

While inaugurating the Mahakaleshwar Band, CM Dr. Yadav said that this band will make the atmosphere devotional with its vocal waves on Baba Mahakal rides, festivals and special occasions. This band has been specially prepared and its members will spread the glory of Lord Bholenath. According to officials, the devotees coming will experience new energy and enthusiasm due to the performance of this band.

Shree Anna Laddoo: A confluence of nutrition and tradition in Prasad

Now laddus made from Shri Anna have been included in the Prasad of Mahakal. These laddus are prepared from ragi, kodo, kutki and other millets. Shree Anna Laddu is not only nutritious but also contains abundant amounts of protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals.

With this change, the fasting devotees will also get convenience in receiving the Prasad. The Chief Minister said that the offering of Shri Anna Laddu will also strengthen the economy of the tribal society, because millets are mainly produced in tribal areas. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who first gave millets the status of Sri Anna and gave it global recognition. Now Shri Anna is being adopted everywhere in Madhya Pradesh also.

Confluence of devotion, culture and prosperity

At the end of the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that these events being held in Mahakal Lok are not only important from the religious point of view, but they are also related to our cultural roots and life.
