Agriculture department helpline launched
The helpline service of the Agriculture Department was started in the Agriculture Directorate on Wednesday. Through this helpline, farmers will be able to get complete information related to the schemes and facilities of the Agriculture Department sitting at home. This service is an important initiative towards solving the problems of farmers in a simple and quick manner.
Agriculture Minister launches helpline
Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi along with Minister of State Baldev Singh Aulakh launched this helpline at the Directorate of Agriculture, Lucknow. On this occasion, many senior officials including Secretary Agriculture Indravikram Singh, Agriculture Director Pankaj Tripathi, Additional Director Ashutosh Mishra and Joint Director Bureau Akhilesh Kumar Singh were present.
Farmers will get information on time
Farmers of Uttar Pradesh can call this helpline number 0522-2317003 from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm. Within the stipulated time, farmers will be able to get the information related to their needs directly from the department.
Complete information about schemes, grants and digital services
Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi said that the purpose of this helpline is to save farmers from wandering for information about the schemes. Farmers will be able to get information about all the schemes, grants and services of the Agriculture Department by calling from mobile phone. Farmers will also get information related to Digital Agricultural Survey and Farmer Registry on a single call. Along with this, information related to solar pumps, subsidy on agricultural equipment, seeds, fertilizers and pesticides will also be available.

Through the helpline, farmers will also be able to know information related to agricultural investment, beneficial schemes, modern agricultural equipment, agricultural research and experiments. This will help farmers to increase agricultural production and improve their income.
